Purpose of Role
You are going to be crucial for driving growth in Sagittarius across all pillars of our agency - strategy and digital transformation, customer experience design and performance marketing, and heavyweight website development. Your main purpose is to build our new business pipeline with qualified opportunities for the sales team to close, and contribute towards revenue generation by:
- Using prospecting strategies to lead initial outreach to prospects
- Identify the needs and challenges of the prospective customer
- Determine the prospect's interest in our services
- Develop credentials meetings for sales representatives and prospects
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- To create and implement innovative lead-generation tactics and campaigns.
- To build and manage a strong and sustainable new business pipeline for net new wins.
- To identify opportunities and develop creative sales strategies for specific market sectors.
- To create, maintain and track deal registrations on Partner Network Portals
Networking
- To take part in sales presentations, networking events and company meetings.
- Take part in exhibitions, partner events and trade shows to engage and follow up with delegates and support the marketing team in the delivery of the event
Person Profile
- You will be growth-driven and entrepreneurial so that you can exercise good judgement to identify and qualify leads for the sales team.
- You will be credible and innovative whilst retaining the drive and tenacity of a new business hunter.
- You will have a consultative nature but with a sales hunter attitude using vision and creativity to build a sustainable sales pipeline.
- You will have great organisational skills with a methodical yet creative approach to prospecting.
- An empathy for prospects' business challenges and their customer’s pain points
Specific Job Skills / Experience
- You’ll be able to demonstrate a successful track record in business-to-business lead generation gained from within a technology-related industry.
- You’ve have a proven experience in communicating effectively (verbal and written), building relationships quickly over the phone and following up to generate leads
- You will be passionate about technology and always looking for innovation. You’ll have experience in working in a fast-paced and demanding agency environment.
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of the workings of websites and the software that powers them; if you’re familiar with Sitecore that’s a bonus but not essential.
- You won’t necessarily be an expert, but you’ll be knowledgeable enough to be able to talk with authority about digital marketing, user experience design and digital transformation.
- Strong knowledge of managing a CRM system to support your efforts, preferably Hubspot
- A working knowledge of both G-Suite (sheets, docs etc) and MS Office packages (particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
